Universal Studios Orlando is actually more of a resort than a single theme park.
The compound features two theme parks, three hotels and its very own hopping, happening downtown.
The Universal Studios Orlando theme park puts you in the movies and lets you ride. The park includes such favorites as Twister…Ride it Out which lets you experience a tornado first hand, the Back to the Future Ride and EarthQuake – The Big One. You can also check out some of the newer rides like Jimmy Neutron’s Nicktoon Blast and Shrek 4-D.
Islands of Adventure is Universal Studios Orlando latest addition. The mammoth theme park has areas dedicated to Marvel super heroes, Dr. Seuss, Atlantis, Jurassic Park and cartoons.
If you want to really fully utilize all of your time at Universal Studios Orlando than make sure you check in to a local hotel, there are three in the resort: Royal Pacific Resort, Portofino Bay Hotel, and the Hard Rock Hotel.
Finally, if you’re looking for some after sunset fun than head on over to CityWalk. The complex has eight restaurants, six clubs and music venues, a movie theater and tons of shopping.
