More than 80 million people have visited Sea World Orlando’s 200 acres of marine shows and exhibits.
The park opens year round at 9 a.m. and tickets cost $53.95 for adults, $44.95 for children 3 to 9-years-old, children two and under are free. Make sure you give yourself a full day to check out this park.
Sea World Orlando is a spectacle of animal interaction, live shows and incredible rides.
The rides include Kraken, Journey to Atlantis and Wild Artic.
Kraken is a monstrous 15-story rollercoaster that does seven loops and reaches speeds of 65 mph – and you tackle the whole thing dangling from the steel chairs.
Journey to Atlantis is a log flume with a twist, actually a drop, a 60-foot one. Think of it as a water rollercoaster.
Wild Arctic puts you in a “jet helicopter” as you journey through the artic in a motion-based flight.
Sure Sea World Orlando has dolphins and killer whales, but did you know they also have a rain forest? The Tropical Rain Forest features 30-foot bamboo trees, banyan trees and plenty of exotic birds.
Sea World Orlando also has nine restaurants ranging from full-service upscale restaurants to cafeteria-style eateries. If you do plan on eating at the park you might want to check out the Makahiki Luau dinner and show. The show features traditional music, song, dance and food from Hawaii. Reservations are required but is definitely worth it if you're visiting Sea World Orlando.
