Orlando Predators

The Orlando Predators Arena Football team was one of the league’s premiere franchises.

Founded in 1991, the Orlando Predators are one of 19 AFL teams in the country and two in Florida.

The team has qualified for the playoffs 12 consecutive years in a row and posted a league-record 12 consecutive winning seasons. The team, which won ArenaBowl titles in 1998 and 2000, has played in four other championship games.

For those of your not familiar with the Orlando Predators and the sport of Arena Football, think of it as a blend of football and hockey without the ice.

The game is broken down into four 15 minute quarters, 15 minute halftime and 15 minutes of overtime.

The field is 85 feet wide and 50 yards long with no out of bounds, instead the sidelines are girded by 48-inch high, high-density foam padding.

The Orlando Predators have played at the TD Waterhouse Centre, also known as The Jungle, since their inception. Since 1991 more than 1.3 million fans have watched the Predators play.
