Orlando Chamber of Commerce

The Orlando Chamber of Commerce is the region’s largest chamber of commerce.

The chamber was the first chamber of commerce in the state of Florida to achieve a Five Star accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and only the fourth chamber in the country to have earned it.

The Orlando Chamber of Commerce, which was established in 1913, helps support business programs in seven Central Florida counties: Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Park, Seminole, and Volusia.

Not surprisingly this makes the Orlando Chamber of Commerce the state’s largest with 6,000 members.

The founders of the chamber’s regional board of advisors are Beat Kahli, president and CEO of Avalon Park; Tom Ball, managing partner of Baker & Hostetler; Joe. S. York, regional director of BellSouth; John W. Hillenmeyer, president and CEO of Orlando Regional Healthcare; and R. Van Bogan, president of SouthTrust Bank.

The goal of the Orlando Chamber of Commerce is to help build a strong, vital community and in turn foster a healthy business environment. The chamber does this by offering a wide range of business programs dedicated to helping anyone in business, be you the CEO of a international corporation or an area resident starting their own home business.
